France will be happy with that they got the tournament off to a winning start. it was a good team effort and bodes well for the rest of their campaign. Italy were not disgraced and they will be pleased with their effort, especially in the first half. But as the match progressed, the French gained control and the scoreboard is a fair reflection of the match.
